You don’t know Jericho: Meet Billie Church

Another game I’m looking forward to is Clive Barker’s Jericho, which is scheduled to come out on the 23rd this month. Like his previous foray into games, Clive Barker made Jericho a first-person shooter. This time, there’s a twist: you control multiple members of a special ops team. Yes, the previous “special” abilities similar to […]

NBA’s Gilbert Arenas cheats at Halo 3

Don’t get cute, Agent Zero. It looks like Gilbert Arenas, guard and outspoken (yet unofficial) mascot of the Washington Wizards, has been busted for cheating at Halo 3 in Xbox Live.

The geeks at the Halo 3 forum revealed that Gilbert racks up his rank by joining up with a friend, then have his other […]

Call of Duty 4 for the DS might not suck like other handheld shooters

The last major shooter franchise that graced the DS left a bad aftertaste. Sure, Brothers in Arms looked pretty, its levels were of considerable size for a handheld game, and the explosions are a visual treat. Those are good stuff that you’d notice when you watch the trailers, but things start getting ugly when you […]

Master Chief does Mario in Super Halo Brothers

Yes, the video is indeed fascinating. What’s surprising is that someone took the time to make it.

Thanks to Patrick, the Ironic Gamer, for the tip.

Half-Life 2: Episode Two lets you enjoy a joyride with Alyx

That’s right–you can drive around huge open spaces with Eli Vance’s hot daughter. Wanna see how it looks? Of course you do. Watch the video below:

I’m just surprised how the gal manages to stay in the vehicle even without wearing a seatbelt.

Voice actors for Turok are revealed

If you haven’t heard of Turok, then I suggest you shave your flowing beard, trim all your excess body hair, and take a hot bath because you’ve been out of touch from civilization for quite a while.

Turok is a comic book character-turned video game hero, and the latest installment will make its way to […]

Three is the new one: Halo 3 tops Japan charts

You thought it would never happen. As we all know, the Xbox 360 and Japan don’t mix. Why? Because it’s the land of Nintendo and Sony, baby. Imagine my surprise when Kotaku said that Halo 3, that behemoth shooter that’s making everyone in North America crazy, tops the Japanese charts this week.

Say what?

Halo […]

Bioshock annoyances #2: Shooting splicers are fun—up to a certain point

So Bioshock gives me a headache when I play for long periods. I can still enjoy it for a couple of hours, right? I take in the twisted art deco, the awesome eye candy, and the superior audio for 120 minutes or so, then log out happy, right?

Taking in the atmosphere may put a […]

Half-Life 2: Episode 3 is indeed coming

The Orange Box may not be in your hands just yet, but while the vigil continues, Jeux-France revealed that Valve is already working on Episode Three. So when is it coming out? We have no idea.
Even if we did know, don’t take our word for it because if there’s one thing sure about Valve—aside from […]

Bungie has developing skillz, but driving a Warthog is another matter

Microsoft may be laughing its way to the bank thanks to Bungie’s game-making abilities, but don’t ask these guys to drive a Warthog in real life.

Peter Jackson would have a fit when he sees what these guys did to his movie prop.
