'Max Payne' Theatrical Trailer @ Yahoo! Video
There’s a new trailer for the Max Payne movie. You know, the one starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis? Some parts of it may look familiar, but a lot of the scenes here are pretty new. The movie may not be directed by Uwe Boll and may have a […]

Am I the only drooling at the prospect of playing and owning Far Cry 2, the upcoming FPS by Ubisoft? I may have originally considered it a mere rental, but ever since the map editor was introduced, my perception about the game has changed. This new video about Far Cry 2 aiming to […]

I have a confession to make. The video you see above is my first peek of Left 4 Dead, Valve Software’s upcoming survival horror FPS. To keep the engine from looking dated, Valve added several post-processing effects like color correction, film grain, and vignetting. And as you can see, the Source engine is looking alive […]

According to Infinity Ward director of communications Robert Bowling (aka Fourzerotwo), Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’s online multiplayer community is 10 million strong. This figure corresponds to the sum of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players. Unfortunately, Bowling made no mention of CoD4’s PC community and its contribution to the overall total.

How unlucky can one get? TimeShift, a sci-fi FPS, is a veritable ghost town when one tries to play online multiplayer over at PlayStation Network. Interestingly, I’ve had the same experience while playing The Darkness. That’s right, no one is around for anyone to play with.

Better late than never, they always say. I’ve managed to get a steal this weekend by snatching up SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 1 and 2 for the PlayStation Portable. Despite having the hots for the sequel, I’ve decided to begin my adventures with the earlier game.
I wasn’t disappointed.

If you’ve been browsing the Internet these past few days, then you may have chanced upon the new “multiplayer” video for Killzone 2, which was shown over at the Leipzig Games Convention. There has been talk regarding its authenticity, since it all sounds manufactured.
Here are top 10 reasons why the Killzone 2 multiplayer […]

Far Cry 2 is coming with a map editor, but it’s not your ordinary map editor. Normally, such editors, especially those for first-person shooters, are a tad unwieldy. And usually, map editors are released for PC versions of multiplatform games because the console editions don’t have the necessary peripherals (i.e. keyboards and mice) […]

After what seemed like an eternity, Bioshock finally has a release date for the PlayStation 3. Mark your calendars, PS3 owners, because the critically-acclaimed FPS/horror game is coming in North America on October 21 and internationally on October 24.
Interestingly, Bioshock’s PS3 version comes with new content. This includes the Survivor difficulty mode, and Trophy support, […]

Speaking of Resident Evil 5, a new trailer for the survival-horror game was recently released and it’s looking mighty fine. The new Resident Evil is looking more and more “deliberately-paced shooter” than “scary action adventure game.” Want proof? Watch the trailer after the jump.

A lot of buzz has been generated over the racism “issue” in Resident Evil 5, the latest entry in the popular survival-horror series, because of its Africa setting. Interestingly, Far Cry 2 is an upcoming FPS that’s also set in Africa but it never seemed to have generated the same sort of talk.
GameAxis has recently […]

We have good news and bad news. First, the good: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky has finally gone gold. As for the bad—the PC exclusive is going to be released a week later than the originally announced date. From August 29, the Shadow of Chernobyl prequel is coming on September 5 instead.
Does a week’s delay really matter […]
