Be the first to play Halo 3—in IMAX
Spencer over at Siliconera announced more Halo 3 goodness that’s bound to whet a fanboy’s appetite. First, you can get to be one of the first to play Halo 3. Hey, no biggie right? What’s a couple of days later than those losers?
That’s what you think.
If you do get to win tickets to this event, you can experience playing Halo 3 on a huge IMAX screen. Yes, a screen that’s at least 22m wide and 16.1m high. All you need to complete the experience is a Wiimote. There’s a catch though: registering in the event page and winning tickets isn’t an assurance that you’d be able to get in the New York and San Francisco events.
Like other significant gaming occasions where you show everyone you’re a complete dork, you’ll have to line up because only the first 200 people will be allowed to enter. Overnights are very likely.
