There’s another FPS coming to town, and what better venue to show off the latest trailer than the 2007 Leipzig Games Convention in Germany? The game: Operation Flashpoint 2. It’s not exactly new since it’s a sequel, and it was also announced four years ago, but you know what I mean.
If you haven’t heard of […]

It isn’t everyday that I get to interview industry insiders—and mavericks at that. When the first buzz about Dementium: The Ward and Insecticide came out, I just had to get a hold of their developers. If you’ve lived under a rock for the past few months, then you may have missed out on these two […]

I haven’t played Bioshock myself. Aside from the physical barrier of not being able to get a copy because it’s not out yet, my PC’s limitations (despite its still-decent ability) might force me a premature upgrade before I truly get to enjoy this new FPS.
The worst part? According to a few game journalists who […]

Metroid Prime 3 is more action-adventure than FPS, you say? Let’s see about that. Have a look at this clip and tell me the action isn’t going to be intense.
FYI: Samus uses the standard control scheme in the video. Notice anything else funny about it? Samus took a lot of hits—more than she […]

So you’ve downloaded the Bioshock demo after a long wait, and played through it in a much shorter period. Now what? You play with it some more by exploiting a new bug, that’s what.
Apparently, everyone who’s gotten their hands on the demo or early Toys “R” Us copy is talking about the new Bioshock bug, […]

Yes, the Bioshock hype machine is running full-steam ahead, and we’re all perpetrators. But can you blame us or the masses for swallowing it all up? The art deco in this game can sure make everyone pitch the proverbial tent.
The latest morsel—Irrational Games, the developer of Bioshock, had a lot to share about the weapons […]

Yes, Dementium: The Ward is shipping for the Nintendo DS on October 31. If you haven’t been paying attention, Dementium is this seemingly very gory, very fluid, and very nice survival horror/FPS where you must escape a decrepit hospital while solving puzzles and shooting zombies.
Escaping decrepit hospitals has always been one of my life goals.

If you’ve played the previous Metroid games, then you must know what it’s like to play Samus in ball form. You navigate small passages and try to climb into loftier places by strategically dropping bombs that would propel you upward.
This gameplay video of Metroid Prime 3 would help you relive what it’s like:
I […]

You’ve heard the news: the Bioshock demo is now available over Xbox Live. As you join the queue along with many other enthusiasts, do take the time to ponder on an interesting tidbit while you wait—it’ll take a while.
Senior designer Joe McDonagh told CVG that when Bioshock was being pitched around, many publishers weren’t […]

If this sounds like déjà vu, don’t be surprised. Yes, Microsoft recently announced that preorders in North America for Halo 3 have exceeded the 1 million mark.
As we all know, retailers have begun taking preorders, allowing the masses to order one of the three versions of Halo 3 (there’s a standard edition, limited edition […]

An article/blog entry from Philippines-based GAME! Magazine stated that there seems to be a confusion as to Hellgate: London’s pricing. The question: is the game free to play or not?
You see, IP E-games, an MMO publisher based in the Philippines, previously announced that it has “acquired the rights to Hellgate,” though no other details […]
