The Darkness is coming
If you’re in the mood for sleeper hits, The Darkness just might be the one that will keep you busy in the middle of the year–a period when good releases are spaced too far apart.
No, it’s not that British band. The Darkness is an upcoming shooter for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, and it’s based on a comic book by Top Cow.
To know what the hubbub’s about on this potential hit, watch the latest preview because it just might make you visit your retailer when the game comes out on June 25. The Darkness is slated for release in Europe on June 29.
I confess, I found myself drooling while watching the preview. Do send me your thoughts.

I’ve been waiting for The Darkness to hit shelves for a while now. I’m still anxious to hear the reviews when it’s out.
As it stands, definitely a game I’m picking up in the next few months (I’ve got a lot of games on my plate right now…).

It would’ve way cooler if it was the British Band The Darkness… I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE!

Just thought I’d pop in, mention how excited I am about The Darkness (both the glam-rock band, and upcoming game! haha), but also suggest Left 4 Dead. New FPS in development from Turtle Rock Studios and Valve. Double release on 360 and PC, I believe. So far hands-on previews have been glowing.
The game appears to use the 28 Days Later take on the zombie formula: highly mobile and extremely quick zombies.

Well Alex, we’re all excited about The Darkness, and the preview really helped. :P
Left 4 Dead sounds interesting, doesn’t it? I just hope Turtle Rock does a better job than Troika in using Source.
