Alright, enough with the shooter metaphors. FPS Rantings is back. If it’s the first time you’ve visited this blog, you should know that we’re all about first-person shooters. Yes, those “murder simulators” that our detractors are so fond of calling. Philistines.

You want news on FPS games, you read it here. Reviews? Check. Previews? it depends on the demos coming our way but yes. Rumors? Of course! Add in more flavored commentary, videos, and screenies, and you’re ready to go.

So Mike, what are your plans for FPS Rantings?

Well, other than (trying to) making it bigger and better, expect more regular features like a Hall of Fame and Hall of Shame, or something similar. Let’s also try to build a better sense of community this time around. No, not that “kumbaya” sort, but more lively discussions in our soapbox thanks to more compelling topics. Hopefully.

Well, those are just plans, and plans can change—depending on the response of the readers (that’s you!). Do send me your thoughts on what you’d like to see in FPS Rantings, and we’ll try to make it work.

Of course, it has to be related to FPS games. If you ask for links to pr0n, I can’t help you there.
