Metroid Prime 3
Don’t forget the obligatory colon and subtitle
:Corruption
As most of us know when Metroid Prime came out on the gamecube and they moved to the FPS oriented gameplay style, the folks at Retro pulled it off quite well and with the sequel they showed the Samus was enjoying her new view and we were too.
Now we have a new system for Metroid Prime 3, the Wii, with its’ fancy controller. One that we hope will make FPS gaming that much more fun on a console. Hookedgamers has a writeup of their thoughts on the third game in the FPS series (not really counting Hunters that they talk about). They basically talk about some of the new controls and the weapon switching and how it’s been changed. Which is nice because with changing weapons and visors in the middle of a fight it got to be a bit unwieldly, hopefully this new stacking setup they talk about works a lot better.
Still not horribly inclined to get a Wii for myself. We’ve got one here at work. May have to convince certain people to buy it and then I can play it here or something.
Regardless, I enjoyed both the others in the series, looking forward to playing the new one when it comes out.
