Just as a note from the Video Games Channel editor, Matt’s post came as a misunderstanding about the blog closing. There was a conversation about the blog’s progress, its future, and our hopes for its success, and Matt didn’t feel like he could devote more time to the blog due to his other commitments. As […]

It’s been fun and I hope you all enjoyed reading my thoughts and sarcasm regarding the genre of FPS games.
Anyways, take it easy and keep on playin.

In an addendum to the Metroid 3 post about FPS games being on the Wii, Far Cry was yet another attempt at pushing out the genre to Nintendo’s most fun (to say) console.
Sadly, it seems harder than it should be. While the other FPS game Red Steel didn’t do so well on the Wii due […]

Don’t forget the obligatory colon and subtitle

Warhound looks to be […]

Rawr and…stuff. Always love those catchy game titles. This one is especially fun as it looks to be a bit more on the sucky side. While not your typical WWII shooter it’s one of those alternate reality ones. Hitler won the war and now they control everything. Then one day you wake up and decide […]

Hexux TV has a narrative video of their first hands on experience with Field Ops. The game that’s combining RTS and FPS gameplay styles. For those of you interested in how this game is turning out I suggest you go and watch. There’s a nice little british gamer guy in the corner explaining everything and […]

Voodoo Extreme has a recent article on the top 20 games released for the “last gen” era for Windows. Among this list are several of our bread and butter “shoot em in the face” classics.
Coming in at 19 is our frat boy favorite Halo. At first I was rather surprised that this came in so […]
