Behind the Portal
Computer & Video Games scored an interview with Kim Swift and a couple of lines from Doug Lombardi himself in their talk about Portal and if that sentence doesn’t make any sense then I don’t even know why you bother reading. 
While it doesn’t reveal a ton about the game itself, the interview does provide some backstory about the people who came up with the idea. Which, actually fascinate me more often than stuff about the game itself. I’m always intrigued to learn about the people behind the game, where the game ideas came from and just stuff like that in general. So often you just play the games, you see their names in the credits and that’s about it. Maybe an interview here or there about the game. Nothin more. So when you get the chance to actually learn about the people who make the game it’s quite a treat. At least, it is for me.
