Saurbraten Game Engine

The first fully robust German cooking game. Make great traditional meals such as sauerkraut, brautwurst, saurbraten, and even beer!
What? No?
Fine.
Much like the original Cube, the aim of this game is not necessarily to produce the most features & eyecandy possible, but rather to allow map/geometry editing to be done dynamically in-game, to create fun gameplay […]

Call of Juarez Con’t

A while back I posted about Call of Juarez. The Western themed FPS. No, it’s not out just yet, but we do have a bit of an update. Worthplaying has screenshots, a synopsis and even a few features to go along with it. Game looks really good. I think the western genre has been […]

Call of Duty 2 360 Tournament

Apparently Best Buy sponsors gaming tournaments. I was not aware of this. For those of you who are currently enamoured with Call of Duty 2 on the Xbox 360, I highly recommend you go sign up and prove yourself worthy of that controller. Prizes include a Jeep, cash, gift cards, face plates and the usual […]

STALKER Date

No, not that kind of date, ladies.
The game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. :Shadow of Chernobyl(note colon AND periods) has finally been given a release “date” and by date I mean general area of when they want to put it out. Ripped straight from Blue’s News
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Release date confirmed
GSC Game World officially confirms the release date of the long-awaited […]

Chromehounds Preview

And just because I like giant robots, you can go read the preview up on Team Xbox. It’s all neutrally worded so as not to say anything bad about the game yet (look at the source) so just expect an overview while reading.
Also, 1up has a quickie article as well.

More Resistance:Fall of Man

Little slow lately, but for those of you keeping up with such things, Worthplaying has a write-up preview of the PS3 shooter. Resistance: Fall of Man(note the colon).
Though..I guess with a title like that we know how the game ends.
You lose.
Unless, of course, you’re an alien at which point you triumphantly rest your […]

GRAW Chapter 2

Voodoo extreme brings us the word y0. GRAW chapter 2 add-on content is coming out at the end of June. It promises to have 4 new missions:

Coffee Plantation (Day) - This takes place on a coffee plantation embedded deep in Nicaragua. The map is littered with good cover options that appear in the form of […]

Field Ops

So I caught wind of Field Ops. This game that’s trying to merge FPS and RTS gameplay. Firing Squad has an interview with the Producer and Lead Designer.
I wasn’t horribly impressed with what I read. Sure it sounds neat, but these two guys throw in so many phrases like
Unlike other traditional RTS games, there are […]

Half Life 2 Episode 1 Review

So yeah. I picked it up last night and played through it. And that’s an indication of how short it actually is. But it was good. Highly enjoyable, and they upped Alyx’s commentary and she’s surprisingly quite good at the comic relief. Had me laughing several times. She sticks by your side just about the […]

STALKER Update

A while ago I posted about this game. And since then it hasn’t had the best of progress. But AtomicMPC has an article giving us the “truth behind STALKER“.
STALKER, like so many other games, promised a lot and is now failing to deliver. Or atleast, taking back what they promised. THQ brought in some new […]
