Strike Force:Red Cell
So I came across this while meandering around and I saw it and thought to myself “Eh.”
Does anyone else find themselves doing that more often now? Games just aren’t as exciting as they once were. It takes something really cool or innovative to get us going and then we’ve seen it, played it and are waiting for the next big thing.
Games like this have such a hard time making an impression, because so many others have come and done it better, and earlier than them. All they seem to be doing is kinda putting their own little twist to it and using the latest available game engine to make it pretty.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but re-hashes are getting a bit old and unless they tromp the current kings, they’re gonna fall to the wayside and be forgotten. Though I guess you can only learn from your mistakes.
Anyhow, best of luck to Signature Devices on their recent acquisition, I hope Strike Force, if not a good game, will be a good learning experience.
