Battlefield 2142
For all your BF2 fans out there (And there are many) word has recently come down that their 2142 project is a go for release in Autumn. Which means we’ll get it at Christmas time. I’ve never been a huge fan of the Battlefield series, but I may just join the throng of followers.
We’re creating a ton of cool features that you won’t have seen in any BF before, including cloaking devices, mines that follow you, awesome new rifles, guns and grenades, and of course, MECHS!
That last line. About mechs. Oh my. I know it’s not gonna be anything like what I want, but I never pass up a giant robot armed to the teeth with futuristic weapons. I think they may have finally got me. Someone was paying attention.
Speaking of giant robots. The latest Gameinformer recently arrived at the office yesterday and while flipping through it I saw something about “Chromehounds“. Two days of mech talk has about turned me into a (moreso) drooling idiot.
There was also some talk of Halo 3 not really existing. I may touch up on that later.
